Planndora Cookie Policy
Apptriangle Pty Ltd
About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Apptriangle Pty Ltd (ABN 78 651 767 949, ACN 651 767 949), trading as Planndora ("Planndora", "we", "us", "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and within the Planndora application (together, the "Service").
This Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Where this Policy describes how we handle personal information collected through cookies, our Privacy Policy governs how we further use, share, and protect that information.
Categories of Cookies We Use
- Strictly necessary: required for the Service to function — keeping you signed in, remembering items in progress, load balancing, and security measures such as CSRF (cross-site request forgery) protection. These cannot be switched off, because the Service cannot be provided without them; they don't require consent under applicable law.
- Functional: remember preferences such as your language, recently viewed items, or workspace display settings, so you don't have to reset them each visit.
- Analytics and performance: help us understand how the Service is used, diagnose errors, and measure reliability, generally in aggregate. Where these cookies allow us to recognize you across visits, we treat them as non-essential and subject to the consent rules in Section 6.
- Marketing: [if used] measure the effectiveness of our own marketing and, where enabled, support advertising on third-party platforms. Remove this category if Planndora's marketing site does not currently set advertising or retargeting cookies.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by services we rely on rather than by Planndora directly:
- Stripe and, where enabled, PayPal set cookies during checkout and in the billing portal to prevent fraud and process payments. Their use of cookies is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.
- If your organization enables an integration such as Slack, WhatsApp, or Google Calendar, any embedded widget or authentication flow from that provider may set its own cookies, governed by that provider's policies, not this one.
- Analytics or marketing tools we use (see Section 4) may set their own cookies and process the resulting data under their own privacy policies, in addition to the uses we describe here.
- We don't control third-party cookies directly; check the relevant provider's policy for details on what they collect and how to opt out of it specifically.
Your Choices and Consent, by Region
6.1 European Economic Area and United Kingdom
- We ask for your opt-in consent, through a cookie banner, before setting any non-essential (functional, analytics, or marketing) cookie, consistent with the ePrivacy Directive/UK PECR.
- The banner presents "Reject" with the same size, color weight, and prominence as "Accept," on the first layer — not behind a secondary settings screen — consistent with current guidance from the CNIL, the Italian Garante, and the EDPB on avoiding manipulative ("dark pattern") cookie interfaces.
- You can change your choice at any time through the cookie preference link in the site footer or in-app settings, and you can withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. We re-request consent periodically (recommended: every 6 months) and whenever we add a new non-essential cookie category.
6.2 United States
- Where required by state law (including California's CCPA/CPRA and comparable laws in Colorado, Connecticut, and other states), we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal your browser or extension sends as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information through cookies, and, where applicable, we display a visible confirmation once your opt-out has been registered.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not use cookies to "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising except through any marketing cookies described in Section 3, which you can opt out of using the methods in this Section or Section 7.
6.3 Australia and Asia-Pacific
- Australian law does not currently impose an EU-style opt-in cookie consent requirement, but the Australian Privacy Principles still apply to any personal information we collect via cookies, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings as described in Section 7. Where a customer is in a jurisdiction with its own applicable consent requirements for online tracking (for example under Singapore's PDPA or other Asia-Pacific frameworks), we honor those requirements for users in that jurisdiction.
How to Control Cookies
- Use the cookie preference center linked in the website footer or in-app settings to turn categories on or off (except strictly necessary cookies, which are always on).
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings; consult your browser's help documentation for instructions (the process differs by browser and device).
- You can enable a Global Privacy Control signal through a supporting browser or extension; we'll honor it as described in Section 6.2.
- Disabling certain cookies may limit signed-in features or degrade parts of the Service that depend on them, as noted in Section 8.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, including when we add or remove a cookie or change providers. We'll post material changes here with an updated effective date, and where required by Section 6.1, we'll re-request your consent.
